Description |
The material is cotton. Mrs. Houston bought enough material for two dresses and gave half to Mrs. S. M. Garvin. They made the dresses alike and at the time in the home of Mrs. Garvin in Roans Prairie, Grimes County. Presented through Dr. Carrington. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" folded along length on one side. Beige with brown flowers. Tattered and torn. Very dirty. Was possibly white at one time. |
