Letter. 25 October 1830, from H. Haralson, Nashville, to Gnl Samuel Houston Cantonment Gibson, Arkansas Territory. One sheet 26" x 18" folded length. Haralson reports that he is pleased to "have a place in the Indian Territory" and plans to arrive there in December. Writes that Houston's brother William will follow at a later date. Sends greetings from friends in Nashville. Very poor condition. Three severe tears and one hole in margin of fold |
