Original letter from Gen. Houston to his wife, Margaret, written from Washington on March 1st, 1857. Two pages folded 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" written on all sides in ink. He speaks of how appreciative he is of his home and family. Very faded. Ink has eaten through paper in places. Edges are torn. |
